Getting started
- Open Garlic from Applications. It lives in the menu bar as a small garlic.
- Click the garlic, or press ⌘G anywhere, for the segment converter.
- Or start dragging any file and hold ⇧ (convert), ⌘ (tools), ⌃ (actions) or ⌥ (presets).
- Drop on a clove. The new file appears beside the original.
Common questions
macOS says it can't check the app. Right-click Garlic in Applications and choose Open, once.
Pages, Keynote or Numbers formats are missing. Those cloves appear when the free Apple apps are installed. The first time, allow Garlic to control them in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation.
Some sound and film formats are missing. OGG, Opus, WMA, MKV, WebM and AVI need the free ffmpeg tool. With Homebrew: brew install ffmpeg.
Where's my licence? In the receipt email from Lemon Squeezy. Paste it into Go Unlimited in the garlic's menu.
Cancelling. Use the link in your receipt email. Unlimited stays on until the period you paid for ends.
