How to merge PDFs on a Mac

Combine several PDFs, or a pile of photos, into one PDF in the order you choose.

Built in: Select the files in Finder → right-click → Quick Actions → Create PDF. Or open one in Preview, show thumbnails and drag the others in.

With Garlic

  1. Select the PDFs in Finder in the order you want and start dragging.
  2. Hold ⌘ Command and drop on Merge.
  3. One PDF appears beside the first file.

Photos can be bound into one PDF too: hold ⇧ Shift and drop them on Bind.
